Fatty Alcohols

Fatty Alcohols are a group of organic compounds derived from natural fats and oils. These alcohols have a waxy, solid form at room temperature and are commonly used in a wide range of personal care, health care, cosmetics, and home care products.

They are mainly used in the production of detergents and surfactants. Due to their amphipathic nature, fatty alcohols behave as nonionic surfactants. They find use as co-emulsifiers, emollients and thickeners in cosmetics and food industry.
